Joe Grace was a candidate for Philadelphia's First District City Council seat in 2011 and effectively used his website needed a website to connect with voters.  The site was designed to use the Joomla Content Management System, allowing campaign staff and volunteers the ability to easily update the site on their own. It included an attractive image slider on the home page to highlight key messages in an attractive way.  We also utilize CiviCRM so that the campaign can send email newsletters to supporters, register people for events, collect campaign contributions, and manage campaign volunteers. Wesite created for the Committee to Elect Joe Grace to highlight the incumbent's participation in the controversial DROP program. What Would You Buy With DiCicco's DROP Money?

We created www.whatwouldyoubuywithdiciccosdropmoney.com for the Joe Grace campaign to highlight the incumbent's participation in the highly controversial DROP program to great effect. The site uses substance and humor to illustrate some of the many city services that could be enhanced with the money that Councilman DiCicco would have taken from DROP. The site was designed to go viral by providing a simple way to share it on Facebook and Twitter. One week after it was launched, the site received thousands of hits with over a hundred people instantly posting it on Facebook and Twitter--helping the Grace campaign to grow it's Facebook community by more than 400 percent. Shortly after the launch of the site, the incumbent dropped out of the race.

Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown has always pushed the limits of using social networking to connect with constituents.  Her website provides ample opportunity for people to access her via text message, facebook, twitter, and youtube.  She is keeps her site up to date with important news, events and legislation, and allows constituents to sign up for an email newsletter she sends out on a regular basis.  The site is designed in a clean and professional way that puts information at the fingertips of a voter.  Click the image to the right to see a picture of the site homepage, or browse the site by clicking on www.blondellonline.com.

Sayde Ladov ran a campaign to be elected Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia in 2011.  Sayde required a simple website to collect campaign contributions, list endorsements received on the campaign trail, keep an archive of news stories about the candidate, and provide a place for volunteers to sign up to help the effort.  The site was designed for the Joomla CMS, and the campaign staff was trained to update the site throughout the campaign.  You can view the site at www.ladovforjudge.com.

 

The dmhFund

The dmhFund is a non-profit that provides funding for a variety of programs that serve the LGBT community in the Greater Philadelphia area.  We designed a website for the organization that is clean and attractive.  It provides information about the organizations projects and connects site visitors to the organizations extensive social networks.  You can view the site at www.dmhfund.org.

This site, designed for the Senator Vincent Hughes' political committee, was designed to use the Joomla CMS, allowing campaign staff and volunteers the ability to easily update the site on their own.  We also utilize CiviCRM so that the campaign can register people for events, collect campaign contributions, and manage campaign volunteers.  The site includes an attractive photo gallery that provides movement to the site without relying on flash files that are not able to be viewed on all types of browsers.  You can view an image of the site by clicking on the picture or by going to www.senatorvincenthughes.com

The James Hughes Memorial Scholarship Fund provides last dollar scholarships to Philadelphia Students attending state colleges in Pennsylvania.  They needed a website to provide students with information about the scholarships.  The site was designed to run with the Joomla Content Management System to allow staff members of the scholarship fund to easily update the site without having to rely on a web designer.  The site also utilizes CiviCRM so that students can apply for the scholarship online, and supporters of the scholarship can register for fundraising events and make contributions online.  You can view the site by clicking the picture to the right, or by logging onto www.jhmsf.org.

Charles Hayden ran a successful primary campaign for Judge of the Philadelhphia Municipal vote.  He needed a campaign website that would effectively communicate his message, and allow voters to get involved by downloading campaign materials, signing up for email alerts, volunteering on the campaign, sending emails about the campaign to their friends, registering to vote, and making contributions online.  All of this was accomplished with a simple web design that utilized the glFusion Content Management System, allowing campaign staff to quickly update the website.  You can see the site in more detail by clicking the picture.

Judge Dan Anders needed a website for his successful primary campaign for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia.  The site had to display his biography, and list news stories and press releases about the campaign.  It had to allow voters to interact with the campaign by sending emails to friends, finding out where their polling place was located, volunteering for the campaign, downloading window posters and literature, and making online contributions.  The site was designed to utilize the glFusion Content Management System which allowed campaign staff to easily update the site.  You can view an image of the site in more detail by clicking on the picture.

The Chichester Studio of the Arts is a holistic art school dedicated to teaching acting, dance, song, and visual arts to children of all ages.  This organization needed a web presence to promote their unique vision.  Soapbox Solutions designed the studio an inviting and user-friendly web site that communicated the mission of the organization through pictures and words.  Visitors of the site could learn about the instructors, get details about the programming, and figure out where the studio was located.  You can see the site in greater detail by clicking on the picture to the left.

Judge Teresa Sarmina needed a website for her campaign for a Pennsylvania Statewide Court.  The site was designed to utilize glFusion Content Management System so that the campaign could quickly make edits to the site without needing to rely on a web design consultant.  The site included information about the Judge, the ability to collect online contributions, a place for supporters to sign up for email alerts or to volunteer, links to popular social networking sites such as facebook and twitter, and a page to download campaign literature.  To get a closer look at the homepage of this site, click on the picture to the right.
